We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Hub Manager (qualified Social Worker) to lead our Children and Young People’s Disabilities Service in Barking and Dagenham. This permanent, full-time role is an exciting opportunity to make a significant difference to children and young people with disabilities and their families in a dynamic and supportive environment.
About the role:
As a Family Hub Manager, you will:

• Lead and manage a multi-disciplinary team within the Children and Young People’s Disabilities Service.
• Coordinate high-quality, family-centred services that promote well-being, independence, and positive outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with partners across health, education, and social care to ensure a holistic approach to support.
• Drive forward innovative practices and contribute to strategic planning to improve outcomes for children and young people.
• Champion safeguarding and ensure compliance with statutory responsibilities and best practice.

About you:

• Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
• Proven experience in managing and supervising teams within children’s services, ideally in disability-focused or family support settings.
• Excellent understanding of relevant legislation, safeguarding, and best practices in supporting children and young people with disabilities.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills, with a passion for driving service improvements.
