We are recruiting for an experienced Adult’s Social Worker in Manchester 
This is to work as a Review Lead in a Mental Health team 
Job Description 

• This is a unique and exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of mental health social care in Manchester. The post is temporary ahead of a planned transfer of Mental Health Social Workers to Manchester City Council as part of our ambitious Transformation Programme.  

• Designed as a ‘test of change’, this role will help us realise our aspirations to improve outcomes for people receiving commissioned care—particularly those in supported living and individuals eligible for support under Section 117 of the Mental Health Act.  

• We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running, working closely with the Performance and Governance Manager to provide quality assurance for commissioned care decisions. You will help reduce delays, improve efficiencies in access to care and support, and explore innovative ways to enhance recovery journeys.  

• To succeed, you’ll need experience in mental health social care and strong collaboration skills with housing providers and commissioning colleagues. 

• Need to have knowledge and experience of The care act, reviews, Working with brokerage teams , Commissioning, Legal processes  

• Ideally previously worked within management or as an AMHP
