Children’s Social Worker, Fostering Supervision Team, Leicester 
Pay rate to £36 to £38 per hour 
Contract role, Fostering Supervision Team 
 
We are recruiting for experienced Children’s Social Worker in Leicester 

• Fulltime vacancy for Supervising Social Worker with a caseload of approved Kinship foster carers. 

• Working fulltime Mon-Thurs 8:30am to 5pm and Friday 8:30am -4:30pm 

• The caseload is likely to be a mix of mainstream and kinship foster carers and that some of our kinship carers live a distance away from Leicester, so the role will require travel. Maximum caseload is 22, but average is currently 18 

• Hybrid working does have the requirement of attending some face-to-face meetings at Halford House and other City venues - the more mandatory meetings are approx. once a fortnight as a guide. Hybrid working using office base in City centre, local venues such as Children's Centres and home-based working.
