Cover Coordinator – SEND School – Nuneaton
Are you a highly organised and proactive individual with experience in school administration or cover management? This welcoming and well-resourced SEND school in Nuneaton is looking for a dedicated Cover Coordinator to join their team. This is a varied and rewarding role, ideal for someone who thrives in a busy school environment and enjoys supporting both staff and students.

As a Cover Coordinator, you will be responsible for arranging daily staff cover, liaising with supply agencies, managing timetables, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across the school. You will also provide general administrative support to the senior leadership team and may occasionally be required to cover lessons when needed. The school has a friendly, inclusive ethos and a supportive leadership team who value teamwork and professional development. Working hours are 07:30 – 15:00 Monday to Friday.

Job Role:
• Coordinating daily staff cover and liaising with supply agencies.
• Managing staff absences and maintaining up-to-date cover records.
• Communicating cover arrangements clearly to staff each morning.
• Providing administrative support to the leadership and office team.
• Assisting with timetables, staff rotas, and general office tasks.
• Occasionally covering lessons, maintaining a calm and positive environment for students.

Requirements:
• Previous experience working in a school office or cover coordination role.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• The ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently under pressure.
• Confidence in liaising with staff, agencies, and external partners.
• Experience working in a SEND school or with children with additional needs (desirable).
• A flexible, positive, and solution-focused attitude.
