Are you a QTS SEND Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity within a primary special school? This specialist primary setting is looking to appoint a qualified SEND Teacher to work with pupils who have a range of additional needs, delivering lessons that are engaging, structured and tailored to individual learning profiles.

As a SEND Teacher at this school, you will be responsible for planning and delivering differentiated lessons to small classes of primary-aged pupils with complex learning needs. You will work closely with experienced Teaching Assistants to create a nurturing and supportive classroom environment. The school is seeking a teacher with a patient, adaptable approach who can build strong relationships with pupils, staff and families. Qualified Teacher Status is essential for this role.

Job Role:

• Teaching a small class of primary pupils with special educational needs
• Planning lessons that are tailored to individual needs and EHCP targets
• Creating a structured, inclusive and engaging classroom environment
• Working closely with Teaching Assistants to maximise pupil progress
• Supporting pupils’ academic, social and emotional development
• Assessing, monitoring and recording students’ progress
• Liaising with parents, carers and external professionals
