Pertemps Education is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Science Technician to join a dynamic secondary school in Ealing. This temp to perm role is ideal for someone with a strong biology background who enjoys working in an educational setting and supporting students’ practical learning experiences. 
 
Location: Ealing 
Start Date: September 
Contract: Temp to Perm 
Interview Date: ASAP 
Salary: £110.00 - £130.00 per day (dependent on experience) 
 
About the Role: 

• Support the Science Department in preparing equipment and materials for practical lessons, with a focus on biology 

• Assist teaching staff during experiments and practical demonstrations 

• Ensure laboratories and prep rooms are clean, safe, and fully stocked 

• Manage and maintain scientific equipment, ensuring correct storage and safe handling of chemicals 

• Support with the organisation of resources and accurate record-keeping in accordance with health and safety guidelines 

• Work collaboratively with science teachers and other technicians to contribute to a high-quality learning environment 
   

Requirements: 

• A background in Biology or a related science field (degree or equivalent preferred) 

• Previous experience working in a school or laboratory setting is desirable 

• Strong knowledge of laboratory safety procedures and equipment handling 

• Good organisational skills and attention to detail 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team 

• A positive, proactive attitude and a commitment to supporting students and staff
