• Salary: £175 – £250 per day (depending on experience)
• Contract: Full-time | Long-term supply | Start date: May 2025

 
The Role
A forward-thinking secondary school in Walsall is seeking a confident and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join them on a long-term supply basis starting May 2025. You’ll be teaching across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, delivering engaging lessons that stretch students of all abilities and contribute to positive exam outcomes.
 
This is a full-time role, ideally suited to a qualified Maths specialist who can step into a well-organised department and make an immediate impact. Planning and marking are expected, and you'll have the support of an experienced leadership team and established schemes of work.
 
The Candidate
This role is open to both experienced teachers and strong ECTs who are ready to teach across KS3 and KS4. You’ll need to demonstrate solid subject knowledge, strong behaviour management, and a track record (or potential) of delivering results in a secondary school setting.
 
We're looking for someone who:

• Holds QTS (or equivalent) and specialises in Maths
• Has experience teaching the UK curriculum at KS3 & KS4
• Is proactive, resilient, and keen to contribute to school life
• Brings enthusiasm and clarity to their teaching practice
