Job Description
We are working with a forward-thinking secondary school in Wolverhampton, seeking an enthusiastic and skilled English Teacher for a September 2025 start. This is a full-time long-term supply role, offering the chance to join a committed team with a clear focus on raising standards in literacy and communication.

- Pay: £175 – £250 per day (depending on experience)
- Eligibility: QTS or ECT welcome to apply
The Role:
You will teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4, planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum. The role includes full teaching responsibilities, including marking, assessment, and contributing to departmental planning. The school has a collaborative and supportive English department with a strong emphasis on creative teaching and developing pupils’ confidence in literacy.
The Candidate:
You should be an adaptable and passionate English specialist with strong subject knowledge and excellent behaviour management. Whether you’re newly qualified or bringing years of classroom experience, the ability to inspire a love of literature and language is key. Strong communication skills and a proactive teaching style will be highly valued.
