Job Description
A well-regarded secondary school in Birmingham is seeking a passionate and committed Design Technology Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This long-term supply position is open to both qualified teachers (QTS) and early career teachers (ECTs), with competitive daily rates on offer.

The Role
You will deliver engaging and practical Design Technology lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping them develop both creative and technical skills. The school offers excellent workshop facilities and is committed to hands-on learning. You’ll be expected to contribute to the department’s planning and assessment, supporting pupils of all abilities.
The Candidate
We're looking for a teacher who:
- Holds QTS or is an ECT with a DT specialism
- Has experience teaching Resistant Materials, Product Design, or similar at KS3 and KS4
- Brings energy, enthusiasm and a commitment to high standards
- Can quickly adapt to a new school environment and build strong relationships with students
