• Salary: MPS1 – MPS6 (pro-rated for supply)

The Role
A Good-rated secondary school in Wolverhampton is seeking a committed and enthusiastic English Teacher to join their department from February 2026 on a supply basis. The role involves teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons in both Language and Literature that support strong literacy development and GCSE outcomes.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons, assessing pupil progress, and maintaining a positive and purposeful learning environment. This role would suit an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to gain consistent classroom experience within a supportive department.
 
The Candidate
The successful candidate will:

• Hold QTS (or be an ECT)
• Have experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4
• Be confident delivering Language and Literature content
• Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management
• Be organised, reliable, and committed to pupil progress
