The Role
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join a secondary school in Birmingham from February 2026. This long-term supply role involves teaching Science across KS3 and KS4, delivering well-structured lessons that build subject knowledge and prepare students for GCSE success.
You will take on full classroom responsibilities, including planning, marking and assessment, and will play an active role in supporting progress across Biology, Chemistry and Physics at Key Stage 3, with a specialism welcomed at Key Stage 4.
The Candidate
You must hold QTS or be an ECT with strong curriculum knowledge and confident behaviour management. The ideal candidate will be organised, proactive and focused on raising attainment. A clear understanding of GCSE assessment objectives and the ability to differentiate effectively is essential.
