Vitalis are recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to work in a Rough Sleeper Team in Rochdale Council.
 
An exciting pilot opportunity has arisen for a committed and motivated Social Worker for a 12-month period. This role is ideal for Grade 8 Social Workers seeking to broaden their professional experience and strengthen their skills through a meaningful and challenging new area of practice. In this role, you will provide targeted social work support to people who are rough sleeping or at risk of rough sleeping. You will work collaboratively with local authority teams, commissioned housing providers and outreach services to deliver statutory functions, reduce risk, and create sustainable routes away from homelessness. Your work will focus on improving stability, safety, wellbeing and long-term outcomes for individuals facing multiple disadvantages.
