Vitalis are recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to work in an Access and Assessment Team in Reading Council. 
 
To work as part of our new assessment service, working a duty rota and undertaking single assessments through to ICPC (Initial Child Protection Conference) or first CHiN Plan meet.  This supports Children in Need (health & development) where its likely to be impaired.  The disabled and those children’s needed additional services.  To support any reasonable grounds to suspect a child is suffering or likely to suffer harm.  Looks at risk, protective measures and next steps.
Candidate will be on duty every 3 weeks and the expectation is that they will need to be in the office for duty weeks and 2 days on the weeks we are not on duty.
