Personal Advisor, Care Leavers Team, Rochdale Council
Pay rate to £21.07 per hour  
Vitalis are recruiting for an experienced Personal Advisor to work in a Care Leavers Team in Rochdale Council. 
We are seeking to recruit a Personal Advisor (PA) to work within the Care Leavers Service in Cared for Children. 
·         The role is to support young people who are leaving care  
·         PAs work with the young people and offer support to these young people around many areas of their lives: 
·         Health and Emotional Well-being.  GP, Dental and Optical 
·         Identity: Ethnicity, religion, self-care and presentation. 
·         Family and social 
·         Finances: Budgeting and practical skills 
·         Accommodation 
·         UASC  
Applicants must have experience of working with young people/young adults around and knowledge of the legislation around Care for Children and Care leavers. 
Acting as an advocate on behalf of care leavers to ensure their needs are met.
