We are recruiting for a Saw Operative to join a well-established manufacturing team based in Newcastle-under-Lyme.
Following recent investment in new cutting machinery, the site is expanding its production capability and is looking for a reliable and skilled operative to support continued growth.
 
Key Responsibilities of this Saw Operative role:

• Operating saw and cutting machinery safely and efficiently
• Reading and following technical instructions and specifications
• Measuring and cutting materials with precision
• Assembling components to required standards
• Carrying out quality checks on finished products
• Maintaining equipment and reporting faults or defects
• Keeping accurate production records
• Ensuring a clean, safe, and organised working area

 
Key skills required for this this Saw Operative role:

• Previous experience in a similar manufacturing or assembly role
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to follow instructions and work to deadlines
• Strong awareness of health & safety
• Team player with good communication skills

 
Details for this this Saw Operative role:

• Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
• Location: Newcastle-under-Lyme
• Permanent position
• 26 Days plus bank holidays
• Employee performance bonus
