This is an exciting opportunity to work in a varied and rewarding role that involves complex casework, safeguarding, and collaborative working with multi-agency teams. You'll be at the frontline of supporting individuals to live safely, independently, and with dignity.

About the Role
You’ll work within a Neighbourhood-based team, supporting adults through comprehensive assessments, safeguarding interventions, and personalised care planning. The team is also responsible for screening safeguarding referrals and holding complex safeguarding cases.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Carrying out Care Act assessments
  • Undertaking Mental Capacity Assessments
  • Managing safeguarding enquiries
  • Collaborating in multi-agency forums to meet service user needs
  • Participating in duty rota functions and case management
  • Ensuring interventions are person-centred, strength-based, and outcome-focused
You’ll be supported by an experienced and committed management team who offer regular 1:1 supervision, reflective sessions, and ongoing professional development.

About You
We’re looking for a motivated and skilled professional with strong values, excellent judgement, and a passion for adult social care.
You must have:
  • A Social Work qualification (SW Degree, DipSW, CQSW or equivalent)
  • Registration with Social Work England
  • At least 2 years' experience in adult services (4+ preferred)
  • Strong understanding and application of relevant legislation, including:
    • Care Act 2014
    • Mental Capacity Act 2005
    • Mental Health Act
    • Human Rights Act
  • Experience handling safeguarding, capacity, and complex social care cases
  • Ability to build effective partnerships with service users, families, and multi-disciplinary teams
  • A reflective, creative, and solution-focused approach
