Pertemps Social Care is recruiting a Qualified Social Worker to join a dynamic Children’s Services Team in West Yorkshire. You’ll work within a supportive and well-structured environment, where your expertise will help transform the lives of children and families.

🧑‍💼 About the Role:
You will manage a varied caseload involving:

Child in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), Court, and Permanency Planning.
Section 47 Enquiries and Initial Child Protection Conferences.
Collaborating with children and their families to complete effective Child & Family Assessments.
Working closely with multi-agency partners such as health and police to deliver positive, sustainable change.

You’ll have the autonomy to manage your diary while meeting all statutory requirements, with excellent links to Early Help services ensuring a smooth transition when social care involvement ends.

✅ What We’re Looking For:
We're looking for an experienced Social Worker who is:

Registered with Social Work England.
Has 2+ years’ experience in CIN, CP, Court Work, or similar.
Strong in direct work with children, building meaningful relationships to promote engagement.
Confident in risk assessment, report writing, and care planning.
Knowledgeable of legislation and statutory responsibilities in children’s services.
Creative, collaborative, and committed to continuous improvement.

Develop and implement care plans that are child-centred and outcomes-focused.
Manage a realistic caseload and prioritise safeguarding effectively.
