Qualified Social Worker

Cumberland Council are currently recruiting an experienced children’s Social Worker for their support and protect team based in either Carlisle or Workington. 
 
Cumberland operate hybrid working - However, there will be instances where employees are expected to be in the office for specific tasks or team days, as defined by the needs of the service. 3 days per week in office 2 days from home and every 5 weeks is a duty week where you will have to be in office all week.
 
£45 per hour + £100 expenses per week 
 
Children’s Social Workers will need at least 3 years’ permanent experience with an English local authority and to be registered with Social Work England, as per DfE rules.
