Job Title: Hire Controller
Location: Hertfordshire, London
Basic Salary Negotiable Subject to Experience, Plus Bonus, 25 Days Holiday Plus Bank Holidays, Company Pension, Full Product Training, Career Progression.

Job Description:

Due to expansion and growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-established, nationwide hire company who specialise in powered access equipment.

Responsibilities of the Role:

• Working as a team in a busy hire desk environment
• Taking hire enquiries
• Checking availability of machines and ensuring machine checks are up to date
• Coordinating with engineers and the transport team
• Offering support and cover to the transport desk as and when required
• Dealing with customers to a professional business standard

Requirements of Role:

• Previous experience working as a Hire Controller is essential
• A basic understanding of a transport coordinator role would be an advantage
• Strong communication, organisation and customer service skills
• Experience working within the Powered Access or Plant Hire industry is essential
• Experience working with Syrinx CRM systems is desirable
