Maintenance Technician (Electrical)

Our client based in Surrey is looking for a temporary worker to join them on an initial 3 month contract with the provision of becoming permanent.

The type of person we are looking for will be responsibile for the below: 

• Train, mentor and support craftsperson’s in their role – actively developing them for progression into future technicians.
• Support the wider Estates team by providing task requirements assessments (both from a clinical and non-clinical perspective). Provide technical expertise, advice and interpretation.
• Providing technical assistance, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and root cause analysis of complex issues, and on tasks
• Surveying or undertaking the assessment of work requirements, engineering risk and priority levels
• Ascertain the clinical risk and priority level, clinical impact and requirements
• Undertake day to day maintenance duties

Essential skills and qualifications: 
Level 3 Qualification
18th Edition
Significant experience of having worked in a relevant or similar environment as a tradesperson or craftsperson
Experience of working in a healthcare or industrial or field based infrastructure role.
Ability to read and interpret schematics and O&M’s (may be evidenced through a test)


On-call will be provided if role becomes permanent
