The Role
A secondary school in Dudley is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their department from March 2026 on a long-term supply basis. The role involves teaching Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that build strong understanding across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons, monitoring pupil progress, and maintaining clear classroom expectations. The school is looking for a teacher who can quickly establish positive routines and support pupils in developing confidence and curiosity in science.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will:
- Hold QTS (or be an ECT)
- Have experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4
- Be confident covering the three sciences at secondary level
- Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills
- Be organised, adaptable, and focused on pupil progress
