The Role
A secondary school in Dudley is seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their department from March 2026 on a part-time, long-term supply basis (3 days per week). The role involves teaching Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting pupils in developing strong scientific knowledge and preparing older students for exam-based study.
You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, assessing pupil progress, and maintaining high standards of classroom behaviour. The school is looking for a teacher who can bring energy and subject expertise to the classroom while supporting students in achieving strong academic outcomes.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will:
- Hold QTS (or be an ECT)
- Have experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4.
- Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and lesson delivery
- Have effective classroom and behaviour management skills
- Be organised, adaptable, and committed to pupil progress
