Job Description:
We are currently seeking a passionate and committed Qualified Combined Science Teacher (QTS) to join a supportive secondary school in the Greenwich area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated educator who is enthusiastic about delivering engaging science lessons and inspiring students to develop a strong understanding of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Combined Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, working within a well-established and collaborative Science department. The school promotes high expectations, creativity in teaching, and a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging Combined Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Teach core concepts in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
  • Monitor, assess, and track student progress
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with the Science department and wider school staff
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4
  • Strong subject knowledge across the sciences
  • Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Passion for inspiring young people through science education
